The Contractors in this organization specialize in all aspects of the HVAC and Sheet Metal industry and utilize only SMART Local 33 Sheet Metal Workers. All of the Contractors are licensed, bonded, and insured. SMART provides workers that have completed an intense and exhaustive four-year apprenticeship program in a state-of–the-art training facility that has received national and international awards for the best training center. This training center is funded solely through the contributions of SMACNA-Cleveland and SMART Local 33.

Each graduate of this program completes over 800 hours of classroom instruction and 6,400 hours of practical on-the-job training. Following graduation, each Journeyperson is involved in ongoing programs for continuing education and to obtain additional HVAC certifications. Finally, every Journeyperson is a passing participant of a certified Drug Free Testing Program and carries OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 hour safety certifications to ensure the highest level of safety protocols on and off the job site.
